The first thing that pops into an East Coasters mind is gambling and Casinos, right? Well, yeah... That, and the Beach bar scene is the roadtrip that I am up for...
In my mind - there are two BEST TIMES to go to Atlantic City.
1st - Winter, when the skiing and other winter sports aren't up to speed - AND when the roads are clear. It is cold and depressing out. Who doesn't want a little excitement to brighten up your day. Sign up for a couple of the 12 casino member cards and you will start receiving all sorts of overnight hotel discounts. Take advantage of these offers!
2nd - Summer, when the beach bars are open. With that nice weather, you don't want to get stuck in the casino (like in winter), so get out on the beach for a break, enjoy the summer breeze (with a sea breeze in hand) and all your daily worries will just fade away.
That is a roadtrip that is up my alley...
